Deluxe tourist trains to Lhasa and Lijiang

By September 2008, the most deluxe tourist train from Beijing to Lijiang will be launched for the first time. Managed by Kempinski Hotel Chain, the train, during the 5 days ride, will pass through six provinces of China, coverning exotic ethnic areas including Hui, Miao, Zhuang, Bu Yi, etc. Wide View Windows are available on the train also, and day excursions are available at major scenic spots en route.

At the same time, the most deluxe tourist train from Beijing to Lhasa will become the most dream-like journey. Also managed by Kempinski Hotel Chain, the train will be leading through cities including Xian, Lanzhou, Xining before getting to its destination in Lhasa. Views along the way are gorgeous and the cozy coaches will make it an exceptionally beautiful experience. The trial operation between Xining and Lhasa will be made in August 2008.

The express train has at most 12 carriages, each of which has 4 superior deluxe rooms which is furnished with LCD television, DVD player, Broadband Internet, Private Room Bar, and Safe. Private housekeeping services are highlighted on the train as the most outstanding feature of Kempinski.
