Mount Qomolangma means "goddess the third" in the Tibetan language. In the West, this mountain is called Everest, the world's highest peak at an altitude of more than 39,000 feet. Everest is a wonderful sight to behold, of course, but it is best to admire it from afar and leave the climbing to experienced mountaineers.
