Yunnan
White Powder is a well-known Chinese patent herbal mix. In the beginning,
it was named Baibao Dan (Hundred Treasures Drug). It has the remarkable
effects of stopping bleeding, stimulating blood circulation and eliminating
blood stasis, and acting as an anti-inflammatory agent. Also, it has been
applied as treatment for gynecological diseases. In both 1979 and 1984,
Yunnan White Powder was awarded the Golden Medal as an excellent medicine
in China.
Yunnan
Go Chess, often referred to simply as Yun Chess, is a treasure for
go chess lovers. It has a history of more than five hundred years; in
both the Ming and Qing dynasties, it was an article of tribute to the
emperors. The white chess piece is as pure as jade, while the black one
is as black as agate. The chess is packed in a traditional porcelain artistic
container or, alternatively, in a straw-knitted box.
Dali
marble is used to make various products, including relief sculptures,
vertical sculptures, seating screens, hanging screens, fruit containers,
potted landscapes, ashtrays, and decorative marbles. The reserves of Dali
marble are abundant.
Medicinal
Materials: Yunnan Province is rich in medicinal materials, in large
part due to the complicated landscape and various climates. There are
more than 3,000 kinds of medicinal materials, including rare and expensive
Yunnan gastrodia tuber, Tienchi (also notoginseng), Cordyceps, short-pedicel
aconite root, amomum fruit, Yunnan radix angelica sinensis (also radix
angelica sinensis), Yunnan aucklandia root, and Kunming Hill Begonia.
Yunnan
tea is one of the world's quality broadleaf teas. Yunnan started as
a tea-planting province about 1,700 years ago. Pu'er (in Yunnan) became
a collection and distribution area of tea during the time of the Song
Dynasty. The distinctive features of Yunnan tea are its bright color and
dense and durable taste. The tea is further differentiated according to
its color and fragrance. Yunnan tea products include Yunnan green tea,
Yunnan jade green tea, Yunnan mixed tea, Xuanchun tea, Hongbao tea, and
Yinzhen tea. The scented tea group includes smoked tea, white orchid tea,
jasmine tea, and popular jasmine tea.
